Sylvia Rohlfer is a member of CUNEF's research “Centre of Knowledge and Innovation”. She specialises in HRM, innovation and SME management from a comparative perspective. Her research interests include the impact of HRM strategies and employee voice practices on SME performance, the relationship between leadership, voice and innovation in SMEs, and cultural influences on strategy processes and SME management practices. Currently, she is leading a three-year Horizon 2020 MSCA RISE project (Knowlege in, to and from Emerging Markets – K.I.T.F.E.M.), after participating in another European research project (E.N.T.I.C.E.) and leading a project on people management in SMEs financed by FUNCAS (2015–2016). Apart from being an Editorial Advisory Board Member/Associate Editor of the international journals management revue and Journal of Evolutionary Studies in Business, she has published in indexed international journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics, Chinese Management Studies, Relations Industrielles/Industrial Relations and European Business Review.
