María Fernández Moya, Associate Professor, holds a PhD in Economic History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM). She joined CUNEF in 2011. Previously, she taught at IESE Business School and Universidad de Barcelona. Her research focuses on the long-term internationalisation of Spanish companies. Her papers have been published by journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Business History, Business History Review, Enterprise & Society or Revista de Historia Industrial, as well as by prestigious publishers like Routledge, Marcial Pons, CSIC or Peter Lang. Maria has been a member of the editorial committee of the journal Investigaciones en Historia Económica and served as Vice-Secretary of the Spanish Association of Economic History (AEHE). Currently, she is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Evolutionary Studies in Business. Her doctoral dissertation won an Outstanding PhD Award from the UCM.
