Llamocca Portella, Pavel Harold

BIO
Professor Llamocca is a Computer Engineer with more than 10 years’ experience in consulting, working as an IT Specialist and providing services in several companies in the financial industry, especially Banco Santander, where he has contributed, as part of Santander’s IT team, to various international projects including the Santander London Branch or GBO Poland. At the same time, his interest in research led him to pursue an Official Master’s Degree at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in Smart Cities, Open Data and Open Government. He also earned a PhD in Computer Science from the same university, with a thesis that focused on the application of machine-learning techniques on data from patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder to predict crises of euphoria or depression.
