CUNEF Universidad students will participate in OA6 4 University

On Thursday, 26 February, IBM kicked off the OA6 4 University entrepreneurship and open innovation competition, which in this edition will feature the participation of six student teams from CUNEF Universidad. During the Spring term, IBM will offer training, mentoring and technological support to help students prepare a business plan for an idea based on Generative AI using a case study applied to a Spanish company. 

In the initial exploration and ideation phase of the in-house league organised at CUNEF Universidad, the teams will explore different business ideas and use cloud-based tools and generative AI. During the validation phase, in April, students will prepare their business case, compare their hypotheses and determine their feasibility using Lean Canvas agile methodologies. 

Participants will learn first-hand what it is like to work with professionals from a large company, improve their soft skills, learn how to shape a business idea and receive first-class training and inspiration. This type of academic competition enhances student employability. 

The team that comes out finalist in CUNEF Universidad’s in-house league will compete with student teams from nine other Spanish universities in a grand final in June. The winners of this “Champions League” will receive an Oa6 internship and intrapreneurship scholarship in one of IBM Consulting Group’s companies in Spain, including the option of later joining the company permanently.
