CUNEF Universidad hosts the LXIII National Council Meeting of ELSA Spain
18 April 2026
On April 10, CUNEF Universidad became the meeting point for law students from across Spain with the celebration of the LXIII National Council Meeting (NCM) of ELSA Spain, the largest national assembly of The European Law Students' Association in the country.
The Almansa Campus of CUNEF Universidad hosted the opening ceremony, reaffirming its commitment to the education of future legal professionals and to initiatives that promote excellence, cooperation, and a European spirit among law students.
The event brought together more than 130 participants from 24 universities across Spain, as well as representatives from other jurisdictions within the international ELSA network. The day also featured the attendance of Gabriel Marti, President of ELSA International, and Lucie Nováková, Secretary General, who traveled to Madrid to support the event and highlight the shared values of the association at a European level. Their participation underscored the international scope of the network and the importance of continuing to build connections between law students and professionals across Europe.
During the opening session, several of the companies supporting the event also took part, sharing their perspectives on the evolution of the legal sector and presenting their firms to one of the largest communities of future legal professionals in Spain. In the afternoon, CUNEF Universidad hosted the start of the National Assembly, where representatives from local ELSA Spain groups addressed the association’s strategic and organizational matters.
For CUNEF Universidad, hosting this meeting reflects its ongoing commitment to providing students with a space for dialogue, learning, and networking that strengthens the university legal community.
