Ruggieri, Alessandro

BIO
Professor Ruggieri is a Macroeconomist, mostly interested in Labor Economics and Development Economics. He earned a PhD from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and the Barcelona School of Economics with his thesis “Essays on International Trade and the Labor Market”. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham and a Junior Consultant for the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. He was awarded the British Academy Special Research Grant on Covid-19 for 2020–2021, and a La Caixa-Severo Ochoa International Doctoral Fellowship for 2015–2019.
