BIO
David Trillo has a double Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where he later obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematics. He was then awarded the prestigious DOC Fellowship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) to pursue a PhD at the Universität Wien, where he became a Doctor in Physics in 2023. Before joining CUNEF, he worked briefly as a PostDoc at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI), in Vienna.
His work has been published in journals such as Nature and Physical Review Letters, and he has received several grants and awards, such as the Paul Ehrenfest Award. He has also participated as a speaker in numerous conferences, such as the International Congress on Mathematical Physics (ICMP). His work has also been covered by the non-scientific media internationally, in newspapers and magazines such as Der Standard and Quanta Magazine.
