Gómez Blanco, Víctor Manuel

BIO
Víctor M. Gómez Blanco is a Professor of Economic History at CUNEF Universidad. He obtained his PhD in Economic History from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in 2021. After that, he worked as an Associate Researcher on the EFFORT project (ERC), a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Finance Department at Tilburg University, and an Assistant Professor in the Applied Economics Department at Universidad de Valencia. Additionally, he was a Visiting Researcher at the European University Institute and the University of São Paulo. He is a Fellow at the Figuerola Institute.
His research focuses on finance, inequality, and economic development from a historical perspective. He has published articles in prestigious journals such as the Economic History Review.
