BIO
Francisco Criado earned a Double Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2015 with the best academic record in his class. He then pursued an MSc in Mathematics and Computation at the Universidad of Cantabria (2016) and another in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Oxford (2017). He received his PhD magna cum laude at TU Berlin in 2020. Up until August 2022, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Zuse-Institut Berlin studying first order methods in optimization.
