Deloitte promotes the training of its professionals in financial accounting with CUNEF Universidad

Deloitte has launched a specialized Financial Accounting training programme for its senior professionals as part of its commitment to continuous talent development and the ongoing technical upskilling of its teams.

The programme, delivered in person at CUNEF Universidad’s Almansa Campus, is aimed at a group of more than 20 senior-level professionals from the firm, each with between four and five years of accumulated experience and a solid background in the recognition, measurement, and presentation of transactions in corporate financial reporting.

With a total duration of 30 hours, delivered across four sessions of 7.5 hours each, the programme provides an in-depth exploration of key topics for professional pv ractice in the field of financial accounting, combining a technical, up-to-date, and practical approach to both local and international accounting standards.

High-Quality Education

Through this initiative, Deloitte reinforces its commitment to high-quality training, equipping its professionals with the tools and knowledge needed to address the preparation of consolidated financial statements in greater depth, as well as to understand the nature of some of the key adjustments required in the process. The programme also examines the different impacts that the accounting treatment of a transaction may have depending on the applicable regulatory framework.

The programme content is structured around four key thematic areas: corporate reporting under local and international standards, the measurement and presentation of non-financial assets, financial instruments, and the measurement and presentation of other transactions. This comprehensive approach is designed to strengthen competencies in areas that are particularly relevant for professionals with significant experience and increasing levels of responsibility within the firm.

One of the programme’s most distinctive features is its practical approach, aimed not only at consolidating technical knowledge but also at strengthening participants’ ability to analyse complex cases, identify optimal solutions in business decision-making contexts, and continue developing their expertise independently in areas subject to constant change and evolution.

The programme will run throughout May and June, highlighting Deloitte’s commitment to the specialized development of its professionals in collaboration with CUNEF Universidad. The initiative aims to provide rigorous, up-to-date training aligned with the demands of today’s business environment.
