María José Rivero is Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at CUNEF Universidad. University Professor (UCM 1989), PhD from UCM (1988), member of the Official Register of Auditors of Spain, visiting professor at the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. Founding member of WA4STEAM S.L., founding partner of Dimasoft (1996-present), independent director of Befesa (2006-2013), chair of the Befesa Audit Committee (2009-2013). Various theses supervised. Cooperation project: "Knowledge transfer, strengthening and business development in Ethiopia," funded by the Universidad Castilla la Mancha. Research project on financial information and insolvency proceedings: Research group created by the UCM Research Commission.
