BIO
Carmen González Vaz has a PhD in Criminal Law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid with an International Mention and a grade of outstanding cum laude. She received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the same university.
She is a specialist in terrorist crimes, and has done several research stays at different universities, such as Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia (Italy) and Universidad de Huelva (Spain). She has written several papers and participated in various international congresses and conferences. Carmen has been an Associate Collaborator of the Spanish Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation since 2018 and is a member of the Editorial Committee of Revista Penal.
