Biography
Judith González Lavín is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Carbon Science and Technology Institute (INCAR-CSIC). During her PhD in the MATENERCAT research group, she investigated the synthesis of self-supported metallic aerogels using microwave-assisted sol-gel methodologies for electrochemical reactions, with a particular focus on oxygen evolution and regenerative fuel cells. In 2022, she was awarded a competitive Severo Ochoa PhD fellowship. She also completed research stays at AGH University of Krakow (Poland), the Autonomous University of Querétaro and CIDETEQ (Mexico), and the Fritz Haber Institute (Germany), establishing international collaborations and acquiring expertise in advanced electrocatalytic materials.
