Double Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and International Relations
The Double Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) and International Relations provides an interdisciplinary education that integrates economic and political analysis, the critical perspective of Philosophy, and the study of international institutions and the dynamics of power and governance that shape the global order. This combination enables students to understand the foundations of public action and its impact on economic and social change, while contributing thoughtfully to decision-making in contexts of global interdependence and geopolitical uncertainty.
Delivered entirely in English, the programme combines the core disciplines of PPE with quantitative and qualitative methods of data analysis, alongside specialised training in key areas of international relations, including foreign policy, international organisations, international security and international political economy.
The double degree is awarded by CUNEF Universidad (BSc in PPE) and the University of London (BSc in International Relations, under the academic supervision of The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE). It also includes an international mobility period during the first term of the third year at a prestigious international university, as well as an academic experience at the LSE Summer School in London, where students are required to complete 15 ECTS as part of the programme and strengthen their international outlook.
Students may also complement their education by taking minors in areas such as International and European Law, Business and Finance, or International Finance & Banking, thereby broadening their understanding of international legal, economic and institutional frameworks.
