The Impact & Sustainability Taskforce, made up of representatives of the governing bodies, faculty, students and administrative staff, is the body in charge of defining priorities, monitoring indicators and overseeing the progress of impact and sustainability initiatives.
As part of its commitment to transparency, the university regularly publishes reports informing of its progress, including the PRME SIP Report, the Communication on Progress (CoP) for the UN Global Compact or its Positive Impact Rating (PIR).
CUNEF Universidad is a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact and is an active member of international networks like PRME and RRBM, which promote the integration of sustainability and responsibility standards in higher education and business management. The university has also been re-elected PRME Champion for the 2026–2027 cycle, in recognition of its role as one of the institutions with the highest level of commitment and leadership in this international network.
In recent years, CUNEF Universidad has launched various initiatives to improve energy efficiency in our campuses and optimise the use of resources, incorporating sustainability standards in management, reducing consumption and waste and promoting sustainable mobility.
