CUNEF Universidad hosts the First ACEDE Paper Development Workshop on Strategy

CUNEF Universidad hosted the First ACEDE Paper Development Workshop (PDW) on Strategy on 2 and 3 October. Organised jointly by the Strategy Section of ACEDE (Scientific Association of Economics and Business Management) and CUNEF Universidad’s Department of Business Management, this workshop brought together researchers from different Spanish and international universities to discuss ongoing academic studies and promote the advancement of strategy research.

During the PDW, researchers analysed and discussed the papers published by Alberto Aragón-Correa (BRQ Business Research Quarterly), Andrea Fosfuri (Management Science), Caterina Moschieri (Strategic Organization), and Grazia Santangelo (Global Strategy Journal).

In addition to plenary sessions and paper discussions, the program included speed poster sessions, which enabled participants to share their ideas more dynamically, and a round table on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on strategy research with the participation of Álvaro Cuervo-Cazurra, a Professor at Northeastern University. The workshop also featured cultural and networking activities, including a guided tour of the Prado Museum and a group dinner that strengthened the ties between researchers and encouraged future collaborations.

The first PDW was a unique opportunity to bolster the academic strategy community, offering a space for learning and discussion and enhancing the international presence of strategy research.
