Biography
Paola Zanella holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Università Bocconi. Her research interests lie at the intersection between strategy and innovation. Working both empirically and conceptually, Professor Zanella is now exploring two main lines of research: the first focuses on understanding what strategies help existing companies to adapt to digitalization, and how digital transformation impacts their innovation strategies; the second studies the role of demand in strategy. She is the PI in a research project on digital transformation and sustainability, and her work has been published in the Strategic Management Journal and other prestigious scientific journals. She is also a frequent presenter at international conferences, organised by leading institutions like the Academy of Management or the Strategic Management Society. She has teaching experience at undergraduate, masters and MBA level.
