Biography
Miguel Velasco López is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto and served in various executive roles for nine years at the Fineco Group (Bilbao). After completing a Master's (MS) in Information Systems Management at Loyola University (Chicago), he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota (Carlson School of Management, Information and Decision Sciences). He has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses at Iowa State University and Loyola University Chicago. His research focuses on two main areas: decision support systems (DSS) and decision-making from a cognitive perspective. He has published articles in international scientific journals and presented his work at conferences in various countries.
