Biography
Panagiotis Trakas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering specializing in Telecommunications from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), and a Ph.D. in Signal Theory and Communications from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC). He has published in IEEE scientific journals and presented at conferences worldwide. His research focused on improving mobile network performance while maximizing operator profit. He worked over 3 years as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Axon Partners Group Consulting, focusing on the regulatory and financial framework of telecom networks, contributing to projects influencing regulations and strategies across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
