BIO
Professor Trakas has a BSc and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). He has a PhD in Signal Theory and Communications from Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC). His articles have been published in IEEE international scientific journals and presented at conferences in different countries. His research focuses on improving mobile networkperformance while maximizing operators’ profit.
He worked for more than three years as a Senior Strategy Consultant at Axon Partners Group Consulting, where he specialised in the regulatory and financial framework of telecommunications networks, and participated in projects involving regulations and strategies of telecommunications operators in Europe, the Middle East and Americas.
He joined CUNEF Universidad in academic year 2022-2023.
