Biography
Juan Pablo Serra (Buenos Aires, 1979) holds a degree in Philosophy (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and a PhD in Philosophy (University of Navarra). He teached Philosophical Anthropology at Centro Universitario Villanueva (2007-2009) and of Political Philosophy at Fundación Conversación (2019-2021).
He currently teaches for undergraduates in several universities while offering cultural and humanistic education for adults in non-academic forums. Since 2015, he is a regular lecturer in the courses in humanities at the Asociación Cultural Zayas in Madrid. He also contributes to the Business and Personhood program in Virtus Universitas and in the educational activities of the NovaTalent network.
He has been an Erasmus visiting professor at the Universities of Essex (2012), the European University of Rome (2010), and the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (2024).
His areas of interest include political conservatism, the pragmatist theory of democracy, and the analysis of popular culture (literature, cinema).
