Office D3-1
Biography
Javier Sendra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. Professor and postdoctoral researcher of Mathematics. His research is centered in the field algebraic geometry from a theoretical, computational and applied point of view. His research interest is focused on Hilbert schemes, algebraic game theory, algebraic curves, real algebraic geometry, tensors and hypersurfaces. He completed his PhD between Tübingen University (1 year) and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Science in Leipzig (2 years) under the supervision of Prof. Daniele Agostini. During his time in the MPI MiS Leipzig, he was part of the Nonlinear Algebra research group lead by Bernd Sturmfels where he was jointly supported by the MPI MiS Leipzig and the scholarship "La Caixa Postgraduate Fellowships Abroad". Before, he did the Master in Mathematics at Bonn University with the scholarship "Study Scholarships for Graduates of All Disciplines" from DAAD and the bachelor degree in Mathematics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
