Biography
Álvaro Samperio earned his PhD in Mathematics at Universidad de Valladolid in 2025, and joined CUNEF Universidad as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics in that same year. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Before that, he combined his work as a predoctoral researcher at Universidad de Valladolid with a position as an applied mathematics researcher at CARTIF Foundation.
Professor Samperio has participated as a speaker in more than ten conferences, workshops, and seminars. He was the lead researcher at CARTIF Foundation in two European research and innovation projects. He is a member of the ALAMA Network.
