Biography
Alicia Rubio is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. Graduated in Mathematics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where completed as well a Master's Degree in Teacher Training with a specialization in Mathematics. Furthered her education with an Erasmus stay at the University of Bristol, UK. Currently in the final stage of her PhD in Health Sciences at the National University of Distance Education (UNED), where will soon defend her dissertation, "Cognitive and instructional variables in geometric problem solving." Pursuing simultaneously a Bachelor's Degree in Pedagogy at the same university. She has teaching experience in Mathematics and Mathematics Education at the university level (CUNEF, ESCUNI, UNIE), as well as in secondary and upper secondary education (GSD Educación).
