Biography
Ignacio Ángel Pérez is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Law at CUNEF Universidad. Over thirty years of teaching experience and professional practice in law. He is an associate professor of Public International Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He currently serves as academic secretary of the Department of International, Ecclesiastical and Philosophy of Law, and as deputy director of the Master's Degree in Fundamental Rights at the "Gregorio Peces Barba" Institute of Human Rights. Throughout his career, he has stood out as an advisor to the High Commissioner for Support to Victims of Terrorism (Ministry of the Presidency), the Directorate General for Support to Victims of Terrorism (Ministry of the Interior), and the Cabinet of the Government Delegation in Madrid.

Expert in Social Communication of Energy (Specialization - University Degree), Faculty of Information Sciences and the Spanish Nuclear Industry Forum (2000).
Bachelor's degree in law, University of Havana, Cuba (1989).
Research Interests
Conflicts, serious human rights violations, victims of terrorism, and vulnerable groups.

Practicing lawyer, Madrid Bar Association (2012-present)
Advisor to the Cabinet of the High Commissioner for Support to Victims of Terrorism (Office of the Prime Minister, January 2005-September 2006) and to the Directorate General for Support to Victims of Terrorism (Ministry of the Interior, 2006-2011)
Collaborator at the "Gregorio Peces-Barba" Institute of Human Rights, UC3M (1997-2004)
