Biography
Natalia Menéndez is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Law at CUNEF Universidad. She is a Research Associate at the Center for a Digital Society of the European University Institute. She is also a Visiting Researcher at the Biometrics Law Lab of the Center for IT & IP Law, Faculty of Law and Criminology, KU Leuven. She holds a PhD in Law and an LLM from the European University Institute and has been a guest lecturer at the School of Transnational Governance and at the Universities of Turin, York (Canada), and Toronto. She has numerous publications on the intersection between Law and Technology in academic journals and has co-edited the volume Next Democratic Frontiers for Facial Recognition Technology, published by Springer.
