Biography
David Mejía is an Assistant Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy on Tenure Track in the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad. He holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University and his early research examined literature, gender, and nation-building, reflecting his long-standing interest in nationalism. His current work focuses on applied ethics, particularly the ethics and politics of deception, and the relationship between AI and human autonomy. He is a researcher in the AutAI project (2023-2026), which investigates autonomy in recommender systems, robotics, and virtual environments.
