Biography
Luis Martínez is an Assistant Professor on tenure track in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. He obtained his PhD in Mathematics in 2023, under the supervision of Diego Córdoba Gazolaz at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. After that, he joined Gianluca Crippa's research group in the University of Basel as a postdoctoral researcher.
His research focuses on the study of fluid dynamics, with a special interest in singularity formation in incompressible fluids.
Currently, he has three PhD students.
