Biography

Ángel D. Martínez is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. After receiving a PhD in Mathematics at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid he continued his research overseas as a member of the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton) and later as a Fields Ontario Postdoctoral Fellow at the Fields Institute and the University of Toronto-Mississagua. He returned to Spain as a María Zambrano fellow researcher. He has been recognized with a six-year research period. His mathematical interests belong to Analysis, in a broad sense. He has published original research in a number of renowned international mathematical journals and presented his results at national and international congresses. He has co-organized a number of seminars at ICMAT and an special session at the Canadian Mathematical Society meeting. He is a former editor of Matgazine's Library section.
