Maícas López, Juan Pablo

Biography
Juan Maícas joined CUNEF Universidad in 2023 as a Full Professor in the Department of Business Management. Before that, he held the same position at the Universidad de Zaragoza, where he earned his PhD in 2005. He is currently the Director of the Department of Management at CUNEF Universidad. Professor Maícas has been a visiting scholar at Bayes Business School (City, University of London) and Copenhagen Business School. His research examines strategic decision-making in technology markets and digital platforms, and his work has appeared in leading journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Information Systems Research. He has led several nationally funded projects, has been awarded four consecutive six-year research evaluation periods, and has supervised seven doctoral dissertations.
