Biography
Gabriel Leite is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Economics at CUNEF Universidad, with a Fundación Ramon Areces research grant (2025-2028). He has a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and he is affiliated with the Hub for Equal Representation. His fields of interest are development, public and gender economics. His research focuses on the study of labour markets, social protection and gender inequality, primarily in low- and middle-income countries. His research has been published in leading journals, such as the Review of Economic Studies, and quoted often in international media (The Economist, The New York Times, El País, El Mundo, O Globo).
