Biography
Ismael Gómez is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, graduating with Cum Laude honors and receiving a special doctoral award. His research focuses on the development of spatial computing methods and artificial intelligence for solving chemical and biomedical problems. He has published twelve articles in top-tier international journals in his field, among other contributions.
Additionally, he has four years of experience in R&D in the pharmaceutical industry, working in areas related to clinical research and AI-driven drug discovery.
