Biography
Alexis Galán is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Law at CUNEF Universidad. He holds a PhD in Law from the European University Institute (2016) and has been a postdoctoral researcher at Bocconi, Goethe University Frankfurt, and the University of Bonn. His research focuses on public international law in a broad sense. He has published extensively in specialized journals such as Modern Law Review, Fordham International Law Journal, and Nordic Journal of International Law. He is co-editor of the book The Law of International Lawyers: Reading Martti Koskenniemi (Cambridge University Press). He was Managing Editor of the European Journal of Legal Studies (2012-2014) and is a member of the European Society of International Law.
