PhD: Universidad de Cantabria
Biography
Ujué Etayo is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad since 2024. She obtained her PhD in Mathematics from the Universidad de Cantabria in 2019 and held a post-doctoral fellowship at TU Graz before becoming an Assistant Professor at the Universidad de Cantabria (2021-2024). Her research focuses on point distributions, energy minimisation and potential theory on manifolds. She leads an externally funded project, holds one recognised six-year research period, and has received major prizes including the José Luis Rubio de Francia (2022) and the Vicent Caselles (2020). She supervises a PhD candidate and regularly referees top-ranked journals.
