Biography
Beatriz Escudero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law at CUNEF Universidad. Accredited as Associate Professor by ANECA, she has two research periods (sexenios) recognized. PhD in Law (Extraordinary Doctorate Award), UCM. Completed her doctoral thesis during a three-year research stay at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, funded by a competitive FPU scholarship. She has been an adjunct professor of Criminal Law at Universidad Carlos III and at ICADE. She has supervised two doctoral dissertations. She has participated in several research projects, receiving the Leonardo Grant for Researchers and Cultural Creators from the BBVA Foundation in 2025. She has spoken as a lecturer at various national and international conferences. She has been a member of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) since 2010. She is part of the Scientific Committee of Penalcrim (J. B. Bosch). In 2021, she was appointed Corresponding Academician of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation. She currently serves as Deputy Secretary-General of CUNEF Universidad. Languages: English, French, Italian, German.
