Biography
Oscar Domínguez is a Ramón y Cajal Researcher at CUNEF. He earned his PhD in Mathematics with Extraordinary Honours at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2016. He was an Assistant Professor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Université de Lyon and Universidade de Coimbra, and a long-term Visiting Researcher at the CRM-Montreal and the Isaac Newton Institute-Cambridge.
Professor Domínguez specialises in Analysis. In particular, he is interested in developing new tools based on connecting functional analysis/interpolation theory with PDEs (fluid mechanics). He has co-authored more than 20 research papers, published in reputed journals. In 2017, he won the Vicent Caselles Prize for young researchers in Mathematics, awarded by the RSME and BBVA Foundation.
He has extensive experience teaching Mathematics at different levels.
