Biography
Álvaro de la Rica Aranguren (Madrid, 1965) is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy and Anthropology in the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad.
Tenured-Track Professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature (ANECA), he has supervised three doctoral theses and has six years of research experience (2003-2011).
He has directed the research group 'The abandonment of human figuration in contemporary abstract art', the Journal Revisiones and the Félix Huarte Chair Collection on Aesthetics and Contemporary Art.
Peer reviewer for RILCE, Revista Canadiense de Estudios Hispánicos, and Revista Valenciana de Estudios de Filosofía y Letras (Guanajuato).
Member of the Spanish Society of General and Comparative Literature.
