Biography

Associate Professor of Economics and Banking in the Department of Economics at CUNEF Universidad, with a PhD in Economics from Universidad de Granada. His research focuses on Banking and Financial Intermediation, with publications in top international journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money, European Journal of Finance or International Review of Financial Anlysis. He leads two research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (PID2021-128994NA-I00 and TED2021-132896A-100) and one by the Ramón Areces Foundation. He has twice received the second prize for research from the Financial Studies Foundation (FEF).
