BIO

Professor Luis Eugenio Carretero Díaz has a degree with a Special Distinction for Academic Excellence (1981) and a PhD (1988) in Economic and Business Science from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is a Full Professor of Business Organization at the Escuela Universitaria de Estudios Empresariales (1990) and Professor of Business Organization at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1992) (currently on leave). He has worked as an Associate Professor at several higher education institutions previously affiliated to the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, such as Colegio Universitario San Pablo (now Universidad CEU San Pablo), CES Felipe II, where he was Head of the Erasmus program for the Degree in Tourism, and at the Instituto Universitario José Ortega y Gasset. He was Auditor Professor at the International Validation Office, University of Wales (UK) (1993-2004) and Research Fellow at the Royal Complutense College at Harvard University (1996).

Career

Auditor Professor/External Evaluator at the International Validation Office, University of Wales, UK, from 1993 to October 2004.

Member of the editorial board of several scientific journals in the fields of business management and operations management, such as UNICA, published by Nove de Julho University, or the Science and Technology journal published by the University of Belgrano. Guest Editor of the International Journal of Technology Management.

Consultant at C&C Business System Consultants in several projects for national and international companies, such as Roberto Verino, Regna Española, GIP-Química Española, Alcatel Sesa, DAF Trucks Spain, Dirinver Group, Crawford and Company, CARTISA, Cartonajes Industriales and IPCO International Paper Company.
