Biography
Elisa Cabana is an Assistant Professor on Tenure Track in the Department of Quantitative Methods at CUNEF Universidad. Before joining CUNEF Universidad, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at IMDEA Networks. She has a research sexenium and ANECA's Ayudante Doctor accreditation. She has published in numerous JCR journals and participated in national and international conferences. She has contributed as a reviewer of scientific articles, AEI projects, and served on TFG and TFM evaluation committees. She has participated in several national and Horizon Europe research projects. She collaborates with the UC3M-Santander Big Data Institute in Madrid, the Coronasurveys group, and the National Biostatistics Network (Biostatnet).

Research Interests
Outlier detection and robust statistical methods, machine learning to estimate the evolution of epidemics, Data Ownership, and AI solutions focused on sign language.
