Biography
Andrés Betancor Rodríguez is Director and Full Professor in the Department of Law at CUNEF Universidad. He was previously a Professor at Universidad Pompeu Fabra for more than 21 years. He holds a PhD in Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (with an Extraordinary Doctorate Award and the Nicolás Pérez Serrano Prize) and a Law degree from the Universidad de La Laguna. He has been awarded recognition for four six-year research periods. He has supervised four doctoral theses and has served as principal investigator on multiple research projects on corruption, the environment, and regulation (five as PI in competitive projects). He has served as President of the University Faculty Accreditation Committee in Legal Sciences (September 2016 - April 2018) and as a member of the Full Professors Committee at ANECA (September 2013 - September 2016).
