Biography
Andrés Ahumada is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at CUNEF Universidad. Previously he worked as adjunct professor at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He obtained his PhD from UNAM in 2024 with the thesis "Actions on Spaces with Bounded Curvature", where he introduced symmetry on metric spaces with a synthetic notion of curvature. He has been a visiting researcher at Durham University and at Karlsruhe Insitute of Technology. His research interests are metric and Riemannian geometry, with contributions published in the journal Differential Geometry and its Applications.
