CUNEF Universidad organises an activity to help new students make the most of the academic experience

Last Monday, 8 September, the School of Business, Economics and Law organised “The journey begins: ten key strengths to make the most of your time at University”, a complementary activity for undergraduate students. Over 120 new students attended the conference by Tomás Navarro, a psychologist and consultant who specialises in applied psychology, resilience and emotional skill development.
Tomás Navarro stressed the importance of the following key strengths:
1. Agility: accepting change.
2. Flexibility: adapting to change.
3. Proactivity: coming up with new resources, solutions, realities and alternatives.
4. Openness: being open - minded and predisposed to learning.
5. Self - motivation: looking beyond what you want at the moment
6. Critical thinking: not believing everything that comes to mind.
7. Resilience: being ready to manage frustration and adversity.
8. Growth mindset.
9. Creativity: training it daily.
10. Perseverance: being ready to go farther than everyone else.
Every Monday, CUNEF Universidad organises complementary activities for undergraduate students enrolled in the School of Business, Economics and Law and in the School of Engineerin.
