CUNEF Universidad expands its Summer School offering, adding summer programmes in Investment and Financial Markets, Fintech and Cybersecurity
2 December 2025
CUNEF Universidad furthers its commitment to international education and practical learning with a new edition of its Summer School, expanding its offering from two to five summer programmes. In addition to the already consolidated “Artificial Intelligence” and “Law in the Digital Age”, there are three new programmes, “Investment and Financial Markets”, “Fintech and the Future of Banking and Finance”, and “Cybersecurity and Technological Risks”, which will all be taught in English.
“Fintech and the Future of Banking and Finance” focuses on how emerging technologies are affecting financial services, from open banking to blockchain and AI. Participants will explore case studies based on disruptive business models and design innovative solutions to the challenges faced by the sector. This programme, which uses an applied approach, is aimed at students and professionals interested in leading technological change in the world of finance.
“Cybersecurity and Technological Risks” enables participants to immerse fully in the world of digital security. They will learn how to identify, assess and mitigate technological risks in increasingly complex professional environments. The sessions include hands-on ethical hacking exercises, cyber threat analysis, and incident response workshops, preparing students to tackle the challenges involved in digital asset protection and technology governance.
Finally, “Investment and Financial Markets” focuses on portfolio management and informed financial decisions. Using advanced tools, participants will gain hands-on experience, learning how to design investment strategies, assess risks, and analyse actual economic data. This programme combines theory and simulations based on real-life cases, fostering skills that are key to excelling in the finance industry.
In addition to the new summer programmes, CUNEF Universidad has updated “Artificial Intelligence”, also delivered in English, and “Law in the Digital Age”, which is taught in Spanish. “Artificial Intelligence” offers an introductory approach to how technology impacts a range of sectors, while “Law in the Digital Age” analyses the legal challenges brought on by digital transformation and the legal implications of new technologies.
This renewed offering is specifically designed for undergraduate and graduate students and young professionals looking to gain specialised knowledge and practical skills in key areas of the digital economy and technological transformation. The programmes, which are taught in Madrid, offer a unique experience that combines theoretical knowledge, practical workshops and cultural immersion in one of the most dynamic cities in Europe.
