Blanca Lozano is a Professor of Administrative Law. Previously, she was a Professor of Administrative Law at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She also serves as an Ad-hoc Judge of the European Court of Human Rights (since 2013) and Academic Advisor at the law firm Gómez-Acebo y Pombo (since 2007). Her research has been recognized with four six-year research periods and she is the PI of the research project “Ecological Connectivity” at CUNEF Universidad, with a grant from the Ministry of Science and Innovation (2021-2024). She has directed four doctoral theses on environmental law. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the BOE Administrative Law Collection and an external evaluator for various publishers and journals. She has authored five monographs and more than one hundred publications in collective works and specialized journals.
