García Martínez, Fernando

BIO
PhD in Economics and Business Studies, being an Associate Professor in the area of Financial Economics and Accounting.
He has supervised three doctoral theses in the area, leading ten research contracts supported by article 83 of the Organic Law on Universities, funded by the Bank of Spain between 2003 and 2013. He has contributed to other projects funded by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (2008), the Fundación de Estudios Financieros (2003) and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2002).
He won the "José Mª Fernández Pirla" Prize for Accounting Research Projects, awarded by the Instituto de Contabilidad y Auditoría de Cuentas in 2012, as well as a runner-up prize in the AECA Prize for Accounting Articles in 2003.
He was coordinator of the Economics Division at the Colegio Universitario Cardenal Cisneros, director of the Revista Técnica Contable, as well as a consultant in the area of financial information.
