Biography
Fernando García is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at CUNEF Universidad. PhD in Economics and Business Administration, he was an Associate Professor in the area of Financial Economics and Accounting at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2002-2014). He has supervised several doctoral theses and led ten research contracts funded by the Bank of Spain in addition to participating in projects for the CNMV, the Financial Studies Foundation, and UCM. He received the "José Mª Fernández Pirla" Award for Accounting Research (2012) and an Honorable Mention in the AECA Award (2003). He coordinated the Master's Degree in Auditing and Business Analysis at UCM (1997-2008) and the Economics Division of the Colegio Universitario Cardenal Cisneros (1996-2001).
