Jesús Pinar has a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering from UCLM (2009), an MBA in Business Strategy and Marketing from the School of Law and Social Sciences of UCLM (2011), and an International PhD from UCLM (2013). He was a Visiting Researcher at Birmingham University (UK) in 2011–2012. He taught at the School of Mining and Industrial Engineering of UCLM, and now belongs to the Quantitative Methods department at CUNEF, where he also researches with the CUNEF-Ingenium group and the MOBS (Mathematical Optimization in Banking Services) project. He is accredited by ANECA as an Associate Professor in Business Organisation. His research focuses on maintenance management applied to renewable energies, among other topics, and he has published over 20 research works in prestigious journals (JCR Q1/Q2), books and conferences, with more than 2000 citations with h-index 12.
