Biography
Alberto Iglesias Garzón is an Assistant Professor of Public International Law and International Relations on Tenure Track in the Department of Law at CUNEF Universidad. Ph.D in human rights law with several visiting fellowships in Sorbonne, Università di Bologna, Jagellonian. His research focuses on the history and theory of International Human Rights Law, with current work expanding into sustainability, ESG, and the interplay between economy and democracy. He is the leading researcher of the project "Ethical analysis of NGO´s performance". He has published in leading Q1 journals and participates actively in international academic networks (Red Tiempo de los Derechos"; Grupo de investigación "Estado de Derecho, Democracia y Derechos Humanos") as well as an active role in project evaluation (ANEP).
