María Fernández Moya, Associate Professor, holds a PhD in Economic History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), where she won an Outstanding Doctoral Research Award for her doctoral dissertation. She joined CUNEF in 2011. Previously, she taught and researched at IESE Business School and Universidad de Barcelona. She is accredited as an Associate Professor (Profesor Titular) by ANECA and has gained recognition for two six-year research periods from the same institution. Her primary research focuses on the long-term internationalization of Spanish companies, the analysis of cultural industries, and the use of organizational history as a business asset (the-uses-of-the-past). She has published more than twenty articles and book chapters. She is leading a competitive research project on the historical development of cultural industries in Spain and its international dimension (PID2022-141388NA-I00). She is an Associate Editor of the journals Investigaciones de Historia Económica / Economic History Research, Journal of Evolutionary Studies in Business, RAE-Revista de Administração de Empresas (Journal ofBusiness Management).
